British agent James More (James McAvoy), made by the Somali jihadists he was sent to spy on, is thrown into an unlit cell to await his fate. Oceanographer Danielle Flinders (Alicia Vikander) is taking a treacherous journey in a small submersible to the floor of the Greenland Sea.
