Just as she was achieving professional traction, cabaret dancer Carol Williams (Sally Forrest) received a devastating diagnosis of polio. As she bitterly pushes away stage partner and fiancé Guy Richards (Keefe Brasselle), she resignedly enters into rehab... where the examples set by her fellow patients may put her on the road to recovery.
