The band Caligator got it's name from taking the best of southern rock guitar and blending in a nice California cool jazz fusion, mix that with a northern California blues feel and you got Caligator. The mix is something special! People say it's a Joe Satriani meets Allman Brothers kind of groove. Three cuts feature vocals, Then it's guitars swinging in a nice mix of jazz rock fusion with a southern edge. The songs are all up tempo and great driving tunes, with ripp'in guitar tones. The band really tried to come up with our own type of sound, but keeping in mind the types of music we all love. Caligator - soulful, tasty, great guitar playing in a nice mix of jazzy southern swing.
