Greetings: I am A. Blackwell a IT Consultant, Scientist, and Business owner, but I am also the founder of The Reason Ministries now pursuing a call of God to serve Him. But that's now, it wasn't always like that. Like the Prodigal Son, I didn't obey God. I got caught up enjoying life and forgot about what God required. So He sent some storms in my life. In 2002 I lost my six figure job, money ran out, ruptured a disk in my back and could barely walk. But, when it didn't look good for me, I got back into God's word, and God moved in these storms. He healed my back and after fifteen months of unemployment, He blessed me with a job when I was down to my last meal. God is faithful! Thus, this CD is titled 'Restored', for during this painfully intense period, as I drew closer to God singing His praises everyday no matter what trial I might be in. He gave me new songs. Some during Morning Prayer, some on my morning walk and others during midnight praise. Easter 2002 the Lord gave me, who couldn't play an instrument or sing as well as others, the song that became 'Nails' and a burden to record it. I had no idea then He would give me a lot more, move me to a place where I knew no one, and yet put people in my life to help and bless me to record this CD. So I give glory and honor to God for the inspiration and resources to make this CD! I pray it blesses you.
