Asram is my musical persona when I am in that mode.My real name is Marsha Johnson and reside in Houston, Texas. I am also a screenwriter and 3D animator. I like to experiment in electronic music with a jazzy rhythmic syncopomp. I have been heavily influenced by my technology background as far my creative processes go. My passion is for music,sci-fi and the moving picture. This CD is the Soundtrack for my soon to be released movie 'CISCO FISHER-CYBERCOP', a 3D animated sci-fi tale that takes place in cyberspace. The theme is heavily influenced by rich orchestration and ethereal sounds that take you on a journey to another universe and dimension.This would truly be a place where one might envision geometric primitives and multi-faceted polygons dancing faster than the speed of light. As a child of math and science I often followed the Cartesian coordinates down a path, after overcoming many obstacles, that would lead me down that virtual yellow brick road. I travel through time and space endlessly hoping to land on some smooth textured comfort zone object in a compatible atmosphere. I say object because I know not what form or shape it might be. But nonetheless I am happy. I hope everyone will enjoy this music and hopefully will also enjoy the 3D animated movie CISCO FISHER -CYBERCOP, just check my website for release dates. Peace and love.
