Andrea Pagani is an Italian Jazz pianist and composer. He works from fifteen years in the Italian Jazz scene,as solist and session man, playing with artists blues, funky and Pop also. He's an arranger and plays also keyboards. He has participated to many International Jazz Festivals and has played in several discs of Italian artists. He has recorded also two albums for Japan Market, produced by Makoto Kimata (already producing of McOy Tyner, Chet Baker, Kenny Drew, Art Blakey and many other famous musicians): ' Le storie d'amore' ( Pony Canyon - 2007) that won the 'GOLD DISC AWARD' of the important Japan Jazz Magazine 'SWING JOURNAL' and 'Andrea Pagani - Plays Puccini' (Mojo Records - 2008), a jazzy elaboration of famous Giacomo Puccini's Opera Arias. 'FOR THE SEA' (2007) is his first album, featuring several guests, like Roberto Ciotti, Massimo Moriconi, Claudia Marss, the 'Blue Joshua Band'and other musicians of the Italian jazz scene.
