Singer-songwriter Alan Goldberg has been writing and performing original, acoustic guitar-based songs and instrumentals for over 25 years. Before settling in upstate NY, he worked and played the local acoustic music scenes in Greenwich Village, Providence, Baltimore and Washington, D.C. After recording a series of home-made 'basement tape' albums,' this is his first full-production CD. Goldberg is a multi-instrumentalist, and performs all guitars, vocals, bass and percussion/programming on the album, as well as most of the keyboard work. The song themes are both personal and universal, focusing on relationships, family, loss and hope.
