The first offering from Calgary's Agnostic Mountian Gospel Choir set out their modus operandi of stomping out the best elements of delta blues and old time mountain music with the fierceness of rock'n'roll. Recorded mostly live in the studio, or house as is happened to be, it bangs and clangs like a band with reverence for the guts and glory of the old music.
