The relationship between my audience and me drives the thirteen songs comprising Requisite Renaissance. Each song reflects a strong focus on musical integrity and structure, both in deeply personal lyrics, as well as the rhythms that carry them. Produced by Martin O'Flaherty at Facet Sound, Requisite Renaissance features Ryan Hurn and Brady Fisher on drums, Thom Hoglen and Curtis Dixon on bass, Martin O'Flaherty, and Mike Evans on electric guitar, and Justin Arft on mandolin. Jeff Youngblood also steps in on 'By the Sea' to play the harmonica. The album is infused with a spectrum of styles and sounds heavily influenced by rock, soul, pop, and folk.
