Adam Barta is a Billboard breakout artist on the pop/dance scene from Bronx, NY. With a humble beginning doing musical theatre and being lead singer in a boyband, his solo music career took off in 2005 with his hit single Dirty Girls, which was on Promo Only's mainstream club series for March of 2006 and received airplay on stations across the nation, including Sirius Satellite Radio, 97.1 WMPH, WFHN Fun 107.1, and many more FM stations. The Armory Project's remix was heard at top dance clubs around the country. He also collaborated with The Verve Pipe's Brad Vander Ark to do an unreleased dance remake of the Olivia Newton John classic, Physical. In Spring 2006 he recorded a new dance single, I Wanna Hold You, written and produced by Mike Guerriero (How Can I Be Falling & Kiss the Sky) and by Mike Rizzo (WKTU). The song was remixed by Klubjumpers, Tom E. Boy and Diego Garcia. It debuted on Sirius, XM, AOL radio, Promo Only's mainstream club CD for November and was added to the Clear Channel database. The music video is on the May 2007 Promo Only club video series. It received a breakout at #5 on the Billboard hot club play charts, landed at the #5 hot pick for dance/crossover tracks on FMQB, and charted at #23 in March 2007's DJ Times Magazine. It also began playing at Abercrombie & Fitch stores throughout the country. In 2008, EsNtion Records will be releasing a new dance single by DJ Russ Harris (Drums in the Club) featuring Adam, as well as his first full album. A DJ Times review for May called him "one of the strongest male vocalists in 2007" and a July feature in Skope Magazine called his voice "surprisingly pleasant" and deemed him a hard worker in the business. The music video for I WANNA HOLD YOU debuted at #3 in June on MTV LOGO's Click List, hit #1 for four weeks and was one of the top 10 videos of 2007 on the network. It is also shown in Canada on BPM TV.
