Norah Jones and her good friends Lee Alexander (bass), Jim Campilongo (guitar), Richard Julian (guitar, vocals) and Dan Rieser (drums) have reconvened to record another album of country covers on For The Good Times. It is the follow up to their self-titled 2006 debut. For The Good Times is comprised of a certain breed of classic American music that all the band grew up listening to including favorite country classics and lesser-known gems. The Little Willies take on songs by such masters as Loretta Lynn (Fist City), Willie Nelson (Permanently Lonely) Johnny Cash (Wide Open Road), Kris Kristofferson (For The Good Times), and Dolly Parton (the beloved Jolene). Ranging from the raucous to the wistful, the album not only appeals to fans of a classic country sound but to all the Norah fans out there. Her vocals are as sublime as ever.
